The fake ‘body of justice’ lies before the stage at the event to mark the 5th anniversary of the killing of 15yr old Maina Sunuwar. The ‘body’ was a metaphor for the ailing state of Nepal’s justice system, undermined by a culture of impunity. No one has been prosecuted for human rights abuses that took place during the country’s 10yr civil war.
