A week long series of events starting on 9 May (Fari Trade Day) will be organised in Kolkata by Drik India as a part of Fredskorpset (Norway) Indian Partners’ Network in association with SASHA/ Fair Trade Forum India. As well as several cultural programmes there will be a photographic exhibition on Fair Trade inaugurated by the renowned writer and activist Mahasweta Devi on 9 May at Calcutta Information Centre. Contributing photographers include; Bijoy Choudhuri, Dev Nayak, Harish Tyagi, Kushal Ray, Kaushik Sengupta, Nilayan Dutta, Prashant Panjiar, Parthv Shah, Prashanta Biswas, Raivi Shekhar, Shorab Hura, Sucheta Das, Sudharak Olwe, Swapan Nayak, Tunali Mukherjee, Tushar Sharma and Zishaan Latif.
